In an area outside the Coliseum known as Christmas Tree Lane, it appeared as if Christmas had arrived in October for Trojans fans. An estimated

5,000 onlookers in all–maybe 200 were Cal supporters while the rest represented USC–needed to witness if, for the first time in more than 100 road trips,

the circus had indeed come to Los Angeles.
