Nebraska gets Lucky

Marlon Lucky, a 5-star running back recruit from North Hollywood HS, made a verbal commitment to Big Red on Sunday; but at the Monday

Morning Quarterback lunch, Pete Carroll likened a verbal commit to getting engaged–where there’s still plenty of time for it to be called off before the

wedding.

  1. the bigger task for Marlon Lucky isnt getting him to come to SC, its getting him through admissions

  2. I can tell you first hand as a nebraska fan…you DIDNT WANT Marlon Lucky. He is horrible….a VERY soft competitor with zero ability to lower his shoulders and go north south. He is a track star, NOT a football player, and WILL NEVER BE A DIFFERENCE MAKER AT ANY LEVEL
