Oklahoma defensive end Larry Birdine thinks Southern California’s offense is just

average.

"I want to respect them just because I have to play them, but then I watch them on tape and everything, and I realize that they’re

an average team."

Birdine repeatedly praised Reggie Bush, but thought if they could take him out the game, the Orange

Bowl and the National Championship will all too easily be claimed by Oklahoma. There were no kind words in regards to Matt Leinart on the other hand, as he

was called "over-rated" and "half-a-man" by the Sooner’s sophomore defensive end.
