MSNBC takes a look at how a 16-team college football

playoff might have gone this year, had the NCAA actually decided to fix the BCS after last year’s slighting of the nation’s unanimous #1 team (who just

happened to be USC).

Wishful thinking?  The Trojan national championship most certainly isnt.  But for now, the thought of a 16-team playoff seems to be as

unreachable of a goal as seeing Cal make the Rose Bowl.
