Norm Chow (offensive coordinator) has 35 years of coaching experience, Carl Smith (quarterbacks coach) has 33, Tim Davis (O-line coach) 22, and
Ed Orgeron (D-line coach) 19. That’s a total of 109 years of coaching experience gone.
Coach Carroll anticipated a worst-case-scenario exodus like this, but it is still quite a shock. What’s interesting is who Carroll is plugging holes

Sarkisian,
Carroll’s former-quarterbacks coach that was with the Oakland Raiders
last year, returns as assistant head coach/quarterbacks. He’s 30.
coach/passing game coordinator, Lane Kiffin,
son of Monte Kiffin (architect of the much-imitated Tampa Bay Buc
defense), has been promoted to offensive coordinator/wide receivers
coach/recruiting coordinator. He’s only 29.
