The UCLA program?

There had been lots of speculation that USC and Pete Carroll in particular were sick of the talk coming from Westwood last week. UCLA’s delusions of grandeur coming from last year’s “close call” where USC had 7 trips inside the red zone and only came away with 5 field goals. Very un-SC-like.

Saturday was an opportunity to make a statement–in no fucking way is the UCLA program close to USC.

66-19 was that statement–keeping the Bruins from even getting inside the Trojan 25-yard-line until garbage time.

This is the seventh consecutive victory over the cross-town punching bag. And the 4th blowout in 5 years. UCLA NEVER blew out the Trojans in their streak of 8 consecutive over USC (and that was when USC wasn’t USC).

  1. In my weaker moments, I almost pity them.

  2. We know that USC has been quite powerful these last few years. However, remember that shit will hit your fan soon and you will get yours. You are the defending champs, granted, you have killed us 7 times in a row. Until you beat us an 8th time, shut up. A win by 50 and a win by 1 is still a win, dork. We have a solid team coming back next year and I’m sure Big Ben will remember you guys next year. Oh, by the way, GO TEXAS!

  3. dork?

you’re the one who went to UCLA

by the way, who is Big Ben? and why should USC fans care?

  4. “We respect Notre Dame and at the end of the day it’s a pretty healthy rivalry. But all bets are off with these pansies,” Hancock said. “We don’t want to just beat them. We want to hurt them. We’re not going to call the dogs off in the third or fourth quarter. We want to send a message.”
