Congrats to Tim Floyd and the mens’ basketball program on their 74-59 victory over the 19th-ranked Tar Heels last night at the Sports Arena.
Lodrick Stewart and Nick Young led the Trojans with 18 points a piece. Gabe Pruitt added 16, and Ryan Francis kicked in another 12 points for USC.
It was the 8th straight victory for the Trojan men, and their first over a ranked opponent since March 2004.

Awesome, gritty, tough and resilient comeback performance by the young and improving and high-spirited USC Trojans last night at the LA Sports Arena against the defending national champion University of North Carolina Tarheels in one of the best basketball games they’ve played in years.
Just unbelievable! I called people afterwards and this morning and boasted to Bruins alumni and aficionados in my office. Watch out Pac-10, Tim Floyd and the Men of Troy are in the house!
