Tragic news this morning — Trojan starting point guard Ryan Francis was killed late last night in a shooting in Louisiana. According to Tim Tessalone, USC’s director of sports information, the 19-year-old Francis was killed about 3:30 a.m. in Baton Rouge, where he was visiting his mother. No additional details are currently available.

Our utmost condolences go out to his family, his friends and his teammates.

  5. It’s so hard to accept that this world is so full of demons. Reason why I call them demons. Who but a demon would take kids, or anyone and feel nothing for the death. But make the statement they was in the wrong place at the wrong time. All I can say is we need to pray harder than ever before. I woyld like to say to the family he in better place now. God Bles

  6. Man it’s crazy how you grow up with someone, then all of a sudden you get a phone call saying he’s gunned down and killed. Ryan was a brother to me and I will forever miss him!!! Stay strong mrs. Paulette!!!
