Sunday night’s scrimmage

1–2 minutes

The passing game finally found its rhythm, albeit against the scout defense.

John David Booty completed 10-of-12 for 98 yards and a TD. Mark Sanchez was 6-of-7 for 79 yards and a TD.

Freshman tailback C.J. Gable had two scores on the ground.

Defensive end Kyle Moore had a sack, a forced fumble and a blocked punt.

And it was good to see Desmond Reed return a punt 60-yards for a touchdown.

“It looked like a New York Life commercial,” Carroll said. “They let him run right through them.”

Also, our apologies. There was no beer sold at the Coliseum last night (apparently they mistakenly sold beer last year).

One response to “Sunday night’s scrimmage”

  1. Yeah…thanks for the premature beer announcement. I was really looking forward to getting wasted on a Sunday night! I had to settle for huffing kettle corn fumes. Aaaaaahhh. I was sooooo high….before I ate all the kettle corn.
