In the Pac-10, winning ain’t easy

Thank you Steve Smith for making it happen on Saturday. Props to John David Booty for turning in his fourth consecutive impressive start too.

Washington State played out of its head. Sure USC didn’t get to the QB, gave up quite a few yards up the middle on the ground, and lost the turnover battle, but credit the Cougs; they played outstanding, in front of a home crowd that smelled blood.

Or maybe it was just that TBS curse? Fortunately, as of right now, there are no future USC games scheduled to be televised by the Turner Broadcasting Network, but if they pick up the Oregon State game, look out.

  1. Did anyone else notice that they used that sped up riff from “Saturday Night’s Alright”? Kinda subtle, but I got the point.

  2. well it’s the old saying, nobody goes undefeated in the pac 10, we’re just lucky…..and i’ll take luck anytime!
