We were just psyched to see Leinart pick apart a Bears D that we’ve had nothing but extreme admiration for up to this point. If only the USC defense could swarm to the ball like the Chicago Bears do. But we were not that upset to see the Cards fall, well, like a house of cards (well maybe a little if only because Vince Young already got a win against Daniel Snyder’s Foreskins).
Pardon us if our skepticism predates last nights debacle, but the Cardinals could be better off without Denny Green. Doubt there is any arguement, the guy is not the best coach in the NFL. And just based on his latest attempts to use the media to call out his players have us questioning his methods. There is certainly no denying his stubborness. The guy is incapable of reflection.
You heard it from Leinart in his post-game press conference, “Why yes, I would have liked to pass more.”
Predictability doesn’t even come in to play (Brian Urlacher does) when you run the ball for the 35th and 36th time into an 8 or 9-man defensive front (which happens to be the best we’ve seen since the Monsters of Midway). By the way, that was an NFL record. Most amount of rushes (36) for the fewest amount of yards (55).

UPDATE: After the jump, video from the postgame press conference, where Denny Green aptly sums up the feelings of Cardinals fans everywhere.
