Although Alabama hired Nick Saban last week as its new head coach, there is still reason for his detractors to hope that USC offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin could end up in Tuscaloosa. According to the LA Times, one of Saban’s first orders of business was to call up the former candidate for his job and ask if Kiffin wanted to come coach for him.

Alabama fans, however, are not impressed quite yet. Journalism is for Rockstars, questioning the desire of loyal USC fans to offload Kiffin, concludes, “Sounds like we’re getting hornswaggled….”
