In other coaching news, the guy I wanted us to hire while still thinking that Saban was a pipe dream, Steve Kragthorpe of Tulsa, is the top choice to replace Bobby Petrino at Louisville. Along with the bad news for the Golden Hurricane, there’s good news for the fellas over at Bruins Nation:
It’s believed Louisville also had some initial interest in UCLA’s Karl Dorrell, but Kragthorpe is clearly the candidate of choice.
Keep your fingers crossed that Louisville will get “Rod-ed” guys. There’s always hope!
