Clemson cornerback C.J. Gaddis will pass up his senior year and enter the NFL draft.

The school said Gaddis told his coaches about his decision Wednesday.

“This is the best decision for me,” Gaddis said. “I have thought about it for a long time and I am comfortable with the decision.”

Gaddis becomes the fifth player – and second straight defensive back – to leave coach Tommy Bowden’s program early.
