The Trojans come up short in the end — losing to UCLA 65-64.

Up most of the game, and by 10 at several points, USC then went cold on a 14-2 UCLA run led by Lorenzo Mata, who is more likely to wind up on People Magazine’s “100 Most Beautiful People” than make a free throw.

But thanks in part to Tim Floyd’s strategy of fouling the 32% free throw shooter, USC came back on a 7-0 run of its own, capped by a Nick Young 3-pointer (+1) to give the Trojans the lead — only to have UCLA’s Aaron Afflalo sink one with only 4 seconds left.

Taj Gibson showed his mettle against the Bruin bigs, looking really impressive; but maybe not enough to get some calls from the refs.

  1. Dude is straight out of Lord of the Rings..I can hear him now with the baskeball out of his hands:” Oh my precious, where’s my precious???”

    Chad, the trojan

My name is Chad. I’m a rich bitch USC fag who loves beer, hotties and most of all my second-to-one USC Trojans! My parents totally hooked me up with a new Benz on the weekend and we’re planning a trip to St. Croix next break. Anyways I just wanted to stop by and say I love USC and fight on!

Oh, and howe good is UCLA at everything, it’s so unfair! They kill us at basketball, you have to admit even though they only beat us by 1, they played like crap and we played our hardest.. Oh and that football game! Sensational.. Im glad to be a representative of our school, so toodloo I’m off to the spa for a wax!
