  1. I grew up in the house next to Eric McDonough, who was a year ahead of me and Cal’s biggest recruiting accomplishment of the 80s. McDonalds all-American, all that. He’d be in his back yard all hours of the day dribbling, shooting, working on his moves, etc. So fast forward a couple years to a USC-Cal hoops matchup at the Sports Arena and Harold was schooling McDonough and the rest of the Cal team, dribbling around them, going up and down the court, stealing the ball at will, and taking it to the hoop with the flashiest moves I’ve ever seen. I hope my Dad had all his USC gear out on display that week because his parents were first class a-holes!
