New York City has struck a deal making Lifestyles the official condom of the Big Apple.

Each year, the City of New York gives out 18 million free condoms–or about 2.2 per capita.

In contrast, Los Angeles County gives away 1 million free condoms each year–or one for every nine people in the County.

Something tells me it’s just that New Yorkers are having safer sex…not more of it.
