• So is Demar DeRozan committed to SC or not?  Last week, Demar told Scout.com’s Jeff Goodman that he committed to the Trojans, but yesterday, DeRozan’s high-school coach, Tony Thomas, told the LATimes that Demar did not give a verbal commitment.  So what’s going on here? 

• Sam McGuffie, 2008 RB from Texas, received an offer from SC today.  His highlight tape is pretty amazing and he seems to desperately want to be a Trojan, but there are rumblings that he has "character issues".  It does seem kind of odd that neither Texas or LSU offered him…

• Quote from Gabe Pruitt:

"Playing with the (current) group of guys and then with O.J. (Mayo),
Mamadou (Diarra) and those guys coming in next year would be great,"
Pruitt said. "Also the schedule – top-ranked teams – that’s what I’ve
been looking for since I’ve been here."

…"If I’m not mistaken,
I’d be the only senior next year," Pruitt said. "That’s something that
I look at saying, ‘That’d be fun.’ Great things could happen. That’s
something that I’ve been considering."

Further evidence that he is leaning towards coming back…
