Brandon is rumored to be leaving his AAU team, SCA (So-Cal All-Stars), out of frustration. - Here’s a pre, pre-season look at the Heisman contenders of ’07-’08; JDB is #4 on the list. I don’t think Darren McFadden will be a serious Heisman contender. He might get pub early in the season when Arkansas runs over their weak OOC opponents, but losing 3 key O-linemen and having a one-dimensional offense will make it very difficult for him to compete against guys like Slaton who don’t have to go through a conference like the SEC.
- Word on the street: Brandon Rush is declaring on Friday. So Kansas has already lost Julian Wright and could be losing Rush. If this holds true, I think without question SC is favored in our match-up later this year.
