The SEC revenues were $139 million in 2005 according to federal tax records. The Pac-10 tax records were not filed in 2005, but we can gather it’s significantly less.
Let’s look at 2004: The SEC made $135 million while the Pac-10 made $74 million. In 2003, the SEC dwarfed the Pac-10, $130 million to $74 million. The Pac-10 and the Big East were only major conferences to decline in revenue from 2003 to 2004.
