Somewhat related since Thom is a USC alum. The high school across the street from SC on the corner of Exposition/Figueroa and the CalTrans building in Downtown are some of his works nearby campus. He won the Pritzker Prize in 2005. Pretty interesting to hear about the influences to some of his projects.
