Johnnie Morton was back in the Los Angeles Colisseum once again. But instead of breaking receiving records as he did for the Trojan football team in the early 90s, he was breaking his own body. Johnnie was fighting in his mixed marital arts debut at the Los Angeles Colisseum, when he was taken out just 38 seconds into the first round. Johnnie Morton was carried out of the ring on a stretcher, Dave Doyle of FOXSports.com reports:

Morton, who had trained for two months for the fight, walked into a big right hook from the Ivory Coast’s Bernard Ackah, who was in his second professional fight…The Torrance, Ca. resident was responding to paramedics before he was taken out of the ring.
