Say Bye Bye to BYU. Jordan Cameron, the basketball player who red-shirted last season at BYU is the Trojans' latest transfer. But not only is Cameron switching universities, he's switching games all together. Not even Cameron could resist the allure to play on a champion caliber team. A team that is in need of his skills, not on the court…but on the field. You see, Cameron is a receiver at heart. At 6-5 and 225 pounds, he will be another wide-out looking to establish himself in cardinal and gold for the 2008 season.

Cameron, quoted on fanblogs.com, had this to say:

“A lot of different coaches told me that I have huge potential in football and that I could make a career out of it. If I have a possible career in this sport, I need to give it a shot and see where it will take me…I set up a meeting with Pete Carroll at USC today. After talking with him, I made my decision to commit. It all went pretty quick.”
