• Thank goodness it’s Friday!  Just a few days ago I mentioned that Demar DeRozan has made huge strides in becoming a legit top 15 player, well, Scout.com just updated their top 100 and Demar is now ranked #11:

Those are the players, at least based on my knowledge, that SC is recruiting (and have a realistic shot at landing).  Obviously we all know Demar committed already, so that is the reason for his name being bold. 

• Free preview video of summer football practice over at USCFootball.com.  The video is short, but you do get to watch Joe McKnight casually catch a pass with one-hand and JDB and Mitch Mustain play catch.  Hey it’s June, we need our fix in one way or another right? 

• Rumors are swirling that Jimmy Clausen may be out for his 1st season at Notre Dame due to elbow surgery.  I ask, who really cares?  The Irish will be lucky to have a winning record by the time we roll into South Bend.  Does it matter whether Clausen or Demetrius Jones is throwing the ball?  I’m writing ND off till next year.  As for now, I’m more concerned (like it matters) with Cal, Nebraska, and the sleeper team that WILL arise out of the Pac-10.
