ZOHAR is led by multi-instrumentalist, composer, writer and producer Erran Baron Cohen (Sasha ‘Borat’ Baron Cohen’s brother). Zohars debut album one.three.seven was released worldwide in 2001 throughMiles Copelands Ark 21 label, gathering fantastic press and propelled by a livetour. Zohars follow-up record, Do You have Any Faith has again been licensed by Copelands CIA label in North America and is scheduled for release in the Spring of 2007. The band has enjoyed an ever-growing fanbase through regularheadline and festival appearances in the UK, USA, Europe and SE Asia as well as numerous DJ slots at leading nightclubs in London and the US. ZOHAR have installed themselves in that exciting area where the beats and textures of modern club culture meets hareem, hip-hop, electronica, dub and future grooves. Their approach is resolutely experimental and uncompromisingwith an instinctive feel for lush cinematic arrangements and intelligent melodies.ZOHAR tracks are found on a multitude of compilation albums including thelegendary Buddha Bar collection, Arabica, Deep Roots, Future Grooves, and Acoustic Chill to name a few.
