As we continue our daily countdown towards the 2007 season, #45 brings us to a tribute to one of the top reasons why it is great to be a Trojan: the USC Song Girls. Needless to say, the Song Girls sure know how to raise spirits at the football and basketball games. Almost all of these ladies fall under the category of “Ball Honeys,” which is usually only reserved to describe the hottest of the hotties.
The Song Girls have been a part of the USC athletic tradition since 1967 and they are one of the most recognizable dance groups in the world. The Song Girls have participated in many outside events such as a guest appearance on the hit television series The O.C., or chilling with Three Six Mafia in Mexico on HollyHood and many other events.
While all of the Song Girls are “cover girl” material, I personally have two favorites. I consider these two girls to be the definition of perfection. The first is Ms. Natalie Fujii, who was a part of the squad from 2003-2005.
Wow. Here’s another one of my favorites, Ms. Teni Panosian. She was part of the squad from 2005-2007.
In short, the Song Girls make every sporting event they cheer at much more enjoyable. They know how to get the crowd’s attention and they add that extra motivation to go to the games, even when you know USC is going to win by 50 points. It sure is good to be a Trojan.
