Trojan football coach Pete Carroll spent part of his day yesterday speaking to at risk youth as part of the “Youth Impact Program.” Created by former Trojan linebacker Riki Ellison, the joint venture between USC and the NFL targets inner-city, low income kids by focusing on athletics, character building, core values, and the positive aspects of discipline.

UCLA has the jail house blues after discovering Bruins wide-receivers’ coach Eric Scott was arrested for felony residential burglary. And to make matter worse, this isn’t the first time Scott’s seen the back of a squad-car. It’s not even the second. It’s the fifth! Eric Scott, who was placed on administrative leave this Wednesday, has been arrested four times before, reports Robert Kuwada of the Orange County Register. The other charges include carrying a concealed weapon within a vehicle and disturbing the peace.
