So many players. So little time — to make an impression. That was the first-day theme for the top-ranked USC football team Monday. Not that Coach Pete Carroll didn’t give his players plenty of chances in a nearly three-hour opening practice that finished under the lights. “To keep you guys up late and miss supper,” Carroll said with a laugh, then looked around at his team and added: “So many guys.” continue
