So yeah, you have quarterbacks Drew Brees and J.P. Losman, and receivers Lee Evans and Marques Colston. But anyone watching the Bills and Saints tonight will be looking at one position, running back.

Rookie runner Marshawn Lynch has already looked impressive in Bills camp, seemingly already securing his spot as the No. 1 back.

"Pencil him in as Buffalo’s opening-day starter," NFL analyst Adam Schefter said. "Lynch has made Buffalo forget that Willis McGahee played there. Lynch is quick, elusive and, like Buffalo’s Hall of Fame running back Thurman Thomas. "

Big praise for a rookie from the Pac-10. Especially since he’ll be facing another quick and elusive back from the conference tonight – Reggie Bush.

Bush is coming off a well-rounded rookie season where he amassed 1307 and 11 touchdowns in passing and rushing. This year (and in this game) he’ll be looking to improve his short-yardage play.

"Reggie has definitely elevated his game,” Brees told SI.com columnist Don Banks. "He’s becoming a better player by the day; by the minute.
