It was the end of the defensive line drills that tempers flared and freshman end Everson Griffen was throwing haymakers at the man he’s competing with for that spot, junior Kyle Moore, who was not backing down.

Moore’s razzing had escalated into a fight that had Griffen, who is unable to speak to the media as a freshman according to Carroll’s policy for the first weeks of camp, and Moore having to be separated and escorted to different parts of the field by senior Sedrick Ellis.
