Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis has decided on a starting quarterback, he’s just not telling anyone who it is – including the player he’s picked.

Weis has said repeatedly since the team began practicing this month he would not announce whether Evan Sharpley, Demetrius Jones or Jimmy Clausen would start at quarterback until it was time to take the field Sept. 1 for the opener against Georgia Tech.

Thursday night following practice, Weis said for the first time he had made his choice.
