From LATimes.com:
Tailback Allen Bradford and his father met with Carroll in his office
after practice to discuss the sophomore’s limited role so far this
season.Bradford did not play in the first half against Nebraska. He has gained 19 yards and scored a touchdown in 14 carries.
"It’s kind of made my game better because I’m playing angry," Bradford
said. "Coach Carroll just said to hold on and be strong about the whole
situation. When I get my shot be ready."Bradford said he was not considering transferring. "If I left I would
feel I gave up on myself. I would feel less of a man. I’m just not that
type of person. I came this far and I have to finish it out."
I, like many, wish Allen would move to the defensive side of the ball. No question he’s a talented RB, but he hits almost as ferociously as Rey, has very good quickness, and is versatile enough to play all the LB positions. It’s painful to watch a talented player as Allen get carries in garbage time with the back-up O-Linemen.
