USC point guard recruit Angelo Johnson, the Minnesota native by way of Stoneridge Prep, finally made it through the NCAA Clearinghouse.
And did so on the last day a player could do so for this semester. An aggressive 5-foot-10 ball-distributor and defender, Johnson finishes out the picture of this year’s USC team that did not have a small, quick player on the roster until Johnson was ruled eligible.
He would be the final piece, USC Coach Tim Floyd said last week, for a young but talented Trojans team that won’t much look like last year’s team.
