Hard to disagree with O.J. Mayo’s decision that USC would be a good place to display his talents when you look at him on the cover of the newest SLAM magazine in his USC gear.
Not bad national pub for a freshman.
But as the writer of the profile on Mayo notes on a trip through an In ‘N Out burger with Mayo, dressed out in his USC stuff, that no one recognized him.
The best of both worlds, it would seem. National exposure on one level in LA but a chance to be youself and a regular college kid and not be bothered by all the attention he might have gotten in a college town where everybody knows the basketball players.
