SEATTLE — Former USC catcher Jeff Clement (Marshalltown, Iowa/Marshalltown HS) hit his first major league home run in dramatic fashion Wednesday, hitting a solo shot with two outs in the bottom of the ninth to tie the game against the Cleveland Indians. The Mariners would score in the bottom of the 10th for the 3-2 win.
