One of my favorite moments from last season

College basketball is just around the corner. Next Friday
(Oct. 12), USC will be having Midnight Madness at the Galen Center
to kick off the 2007-08 basketball season that’€™s ripe with promise for the
Trojans.

The event, which starts at 9:30 p.m. and is free to attend,
will feature a dunk contest, three-point contest, giveaways and scrimmage,
along with celebrity guests. The USC women’€™s volleyball match against Oregon immediately
precedes Midnight Madness.

It should be a fun event.  If you haven’t been following the basketball team, this is a good time to jump on the bandwagon considering the potential of this year’s team.  We have arguably the most athletic squad in the Pac-10 and have a legit shot at winning the Pac-10 title and making a deep run in the tourney.  Come out and support the team.
