The Blame Game

Pete Carroll said quarterbacks always get blamed when a team loses but even John David Booty’s interceptions are more than just his fault.
“There’s a lot of things that go into it but I’m not going into it,” he said. “It’s real easy to point it all at the quarterback. I’m not going to do that.”
He also knows USC fans turned on him and the Trojans.
“I was in the NFL for 16 years. It went week to week,” he said. “I totally understand it. It turns in the wink of an eye.”
