EDSBS’s Orson Swindle either had the good or ill fortune to attend LSU’s thrilling 28-24 win over Florida on Saturday. One thing that struck this reporter as odd from his initial after-action report:
In case you don’t know what a bomb sounds like when it goes off, it’s Tiger Stadium when a USC defeat is announced.
Really? That was the big “bomb going off” moment in a game that featured a 10-point fourth-quarter comeback and game-sealing interception over the defending national champions? Evidently:
Holy tapdancing pandas. Guess that 2003 thing still lingers down on the bayou.
