Injury Poll

If you’ve already had enough of the AP and BCS poll mess (South Florida? Really?), it’s time for a poll about a mess … USC’s injury situation.

<a href ="http://www.polldaddy.com" >Survey</a> – <a href ="http://www.polldaddy.com/poll.asp?p=121121" >Take Our Poll</a>

You can add your own, but if you need a primer on the leading candidates …

  • Booty – Fractured finger on his throwing hand might be what stood between USC and a 6-0 record.
  • Johnson – Somebody stepped on his foot in one of the final plays at Washington, forcing USC’s most explosive player out of the loss to Stanford and squeaker against Arizona.
  • Cushing – The Rose Bowl MVP was a critical element of what should have been the nation’s top linebacker corps. He’s missed all five games since the opener.
  • O’Dowd – Just a freshman, Mr. Clutch looked like a potential four-year starter when he stepped in for Matt Spanos. He was Mr. Clutching-His-Knee in the Washington game.
  • Rachal – Lining up next to O’Dowd, he went down on the same play with an injury to the same body part. Freaky.
  • Pinkard – Supposed to step up and be a force in the secondary, he went down with his second season-ending injury in a row.
