Like a jar of rancid pickles, Jimmy Clausen has been pulled off the shelves. Backup Evan Sharpley will now get his chance to start, playing at home against the USC Trojans. Sharpley is the third-quarterback to start for the (1-6) Irish this season, behind Demetrius Jones and later Jimmy Clausen.

According to the AP, despite his limited playing time as a backup, Sharpley has shown the most promise on Notre Dame’s roster with the highest QB passing efficiency, number of touchdowns and ability to push successful drives down-field.

  1. Is that actually a photo of two Trojans knocking their heads together and falling on the ground?

  2. No Eric, it’s two Trojans making an assisted tackle of yo mama’

  3. What a terrible graphic. Worthless blog.

  4. And you’re a worthless human being, you Notre Dame fan. Fight On!
