YouTubesDay: Joe McKnight Saves USC’s Bacon

If USC gathers itself at some point this year, people will look back at Joe McKnight‘s fourth-quarter punt return against Arizona as the play that changed the season. Make no mistake about it, this play changed the complexion of the game and lifted USC to a narrow 20-13 victory over the visiting Arizona Wildcats.

If USC had lost, it would have been the first time since 2001 that USC had lost back-to-back games. So yeh, this was kind of an important moment for the floundering former overlords of college football.

Bonus points for whoever shot this from the stands, there’s something much more authentic about watching this video that the highlights just can’t convey.
