John David Booty threw again Wednesday and said his finger felt better and there was no significant swelling. Most passes were about 20 yards.
Pete Carroll said if Booty feels great Saturday he could play but it also sounds like Mark Sanchez will be the starter right now.
“There’s no question John can play,” Carroll said. “(But) we’re preparing Mark to be the starter.”
