Former USC and current New England Patriots linebacker Junior Seau can’t keep his mind on the game. Born and bred in San Diego, California, Seau’s mind is trapped by the fires ravaging his home town. As reported by the AP, not only has one of his houses burned down, but his local restaurant was converted into a temporary shelter for his friends and workers displaced by the fire.
“They’re all in trouble,” Seau said. “Not just my family and friends, but the whole community. To see that on TV and to know that everything that they’re showing is familiar but unfamiliar due to the fact that it does’t look the same from when I left it.”
