Linebacker Keith Rivers suffered a high-ankle sprain and Pete Carroll said he was not sure if Rivers would be able to play against Arizona State.
Linebacker Clay Matthews broke a finger against Cal and will need a cast. It’s not the same hand he broke against Nebraska.
“It’s a good, clean break,” Carroll said.
