From USCRipsIt.com:

The Trojans joined hands and had a moment of silence in their post-practice team huddle for the passing of long-time Trojan supporter Lou Galen, who died Monday afternoon after a long battle with heart complications.

“He was a great friend of the program and this school,” Coach Carroll said. “This is sad, really sad.”

Truly sad.  Lou was a big-time supporter of USC and a die-hard Trojan; he proposed to his wife at a USC/Notre Dame rally and even had the TMB play "Fight On" at his wedding.  Most of us know him for his $50 million donation to build the Galen Center, but he and his wife were also dedicated philanthropists donating to many charities and causes.  Here’s a link to Lou’s Wikipedia page if you want to read up on his life.  God bless and RIP.
