Whatever tussle was rumored to have happened between Daniel Hackett and OJ Mayo in the weeks leading up to the season, there was nothing but chemistry on the court when USC took on Citadel in South Carolina. After an upset loss to Mercer to kick off the season, the Trojans never trailed as they went on to beat Citadel by a whopping 74-47.

The Trojans, now 1-1 for the season, were lead by Hackett who scored a game-high 21 points. OJ Mayo followed up with 16 points and five assists. Taj Gibson scored 13 with seven rebounds, and Kasey Cunningham had six points and 10 rebounds.

This Saturday is the battle of the USCs as the Trojans head to the Colonel Center to take on South Carolina.
