Pittsburgh Steelers’ safety Troy Polamalu will likely sit out one game, possible more, after spraining a knee in Sunday’s 19-16 over-time loss to the New York Jets. Prior to the upset loss, the Steelers-D has been on top of its game, allowing an average of 40 less yards per game than any other franchise team. A good chunk of that impressive defensive stat belongs to Polamalu’s versatility in his ability to read the quarterback and anticipate the direction of the play.

Lucky for the Steelers, they play next Monday night at home where they are still a perfect 5-0 on the season. Double lucky, if they have to go without Polamalu, they are going up against the Miami Dolphins (0-10)…a team even Notre Dame has a good chance of beating. Well…no…I take that back. Sad-Sad Notre Dame.
