Davon Jefferson scored 23 points and fellow freshman O.J. Mayo took charge down the stretch to lead No. 22 USC to a 66-55 victory over Oklahoma on Thursday night. The game was the first basketball meeting between the schools in 24 years. Breaking open a tight game, Mayo scored 11 consecutive points beginning with 6:48 remaining as the Trojans (6-1) took a 60-48 lead with 3:35 to play.
