Tight end Fred Davis, nose guard Sedrick Ellis and safety Taylor Mays were named Sporting News All-Americans. This is the second year Mays made the team. At least this year, they got his name right. Last year, they originally said Josh Pinkard made the team even though he missed the season with a knee injury.
Everson Griffen and Butch Lewis were named freshman All-Americans.
