The Raiders – and probably a host of other teams – are impressed by what they’ve been seeing of Fargas since he became the No. 1 back against Tennessee on Oct. 28. No other NFL back has gained as many yards (591) as he has since then.
He will become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season, and the Raiders, saddled with a contract for number one draft pick JaMarcus Russell, may have a tough time matching what other teams are willing to pay.
